MALMS Protector, which has been developed in association with Quinetic (the world's largest R&D company), is a 'non-stick' coating that can be applied to the glass lenses of all AGL fittings. It helps maintain lighting performance, and significantly reduces cleaning maintenance.

AGL fittings are prone to significant dirt contamination. In particular, the rubber off aircraft tyres, burnt fuel deposits, and de-icing fluids are all liable to stick to the glass lenses of the fittings, and are can quickly cause major degradation in lighting performance. They are also extremely hard to clean off, requiring significant cleaning time and effort. MALMS Protector, which can be easily applied to clean lenses (new or during refurbishment), provides an additional protective coating that can significantly reduce the build up of all these contaminants. It also makes the removal of dirt far easier, reducing both the frequency of cleaning and the severity of the cleaning required.
